Good Morning Smoothie


This morning I made a smoothie that was so filling I couldn’t finish one glass. My banana-oat-almond concoction is a perfect breakfast for someone on the go. Here is the recipe (makes one large glass):

1 banana
1 cup ice
3 tbsp soy vanilla yogurt (or regular nonfat)
1/4 cup cooked instant oatmeal
3 tbsp almonds
1/4 cup skim milk
1 tsp honey

Blend until smooth! Enjoy.
